Breast Cancer Awareness

It’s Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Did you know you have options to take control of your breast health TODAY instead of waiting around for your next mammogram?

1. Ditch + Switch. Go through your cleaning products, your bath products, your makeup, and your food. Read your labels, and if it’s full of cancer causing ingredients… ditch it. And then switch to products that don’t contain known carcinogens.

Don’t know where to start? Follow @just.ingredients who has tons of FREE info on the subject.

2. Fuel your body. Women are notorious for eating too little, constantly DIEting, and avoiding the healthy fats and carbs our bodies need. Eat! And not rabbit food (“I’ll just have a salad”). Eat real food - meat, fat, salt, root vegetables, and lots of FRUIT.

3. Chill out. Get some Jesus. Get some sun (without cancer-causing sunscreen lathered on). Get some rest. Take deep breaths.

4. Breast massage.

5. If you can, breast feed. Research has shown that mothers who breastfeed lower their risk of breast cancer.

You have more power than you think, girl. Get after it!
